return to reading continues...
I'm happy to report that I'm still reading! Just finished The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night Time. Such an interesting book. I'm fascinated by how complex the lives of autistic people can be and the effect on everyone who interacts with them. My response to them will definitely be different in the future. It's a very good read, the author really draws you into this boy's world.
The Lovely Bones is on my nightstand now. I picked it up yesterday on my bi-weekly trip to Target(thats gotta stop). I've been wanting to read it for a while. I don't know anything about it, the name caught my interest and I've heard that it's good. There's a review at the link listed above but I averted my eyes... can't wait to start reading it myself. Maybe tonight...

Absolutely love the buttons!!! The pictures of the butterflies are great too. I think the nearest butterfly garden is Indy...must go again soon.

I read the Lovely Bones, good book but a bit disturbing. I haven't read for pure enjoyment in a while. It's always work stuff or "How To" books. I need to make mental note to read a fun book before bed each night.Maybe I'll check out The Curious Incident too.

Calie-Yes...definitely disturbing. However, so nice to have a good book to look forward to at night instead of mindless television!
