unexpected...
Yes, that's mine... I am unexpectedly expecting! Very unexpectedly and very expecting. We thought three children was overwhelming and that our family was complete but Someone else had other ideas.
It's taken a bit of time to overcome the shock, but here I am finally ready to announce the news. I'm seventeen weeks along according to the ultrasound (above), taken today. A March baby, due the day before Cha-Cha's birthday. No news on the gender as Baby was not keen on posing for photos today.
We just told the children and the grandparents two weeks ago and officially announced it to aunts, uncles and a few friends over the past week. It's becoming more real the more I talk about it. I was just so convinced that we were done that I'm having a difficult time wrapping my mind around it.
The children are ecstatic, especially Princess. The Boy has placed his order for a baby brother and Cha-Cha is very inquisitive and talks to the baby often. The Husband and I are still reeling and realizing that we now have to replace all the baby paraphernalia we just got rid of! Oi!
This post is also submitted as my doctor's note (see photo) excusing my lack of blogging over the past ummm... seventeen weeks or so. It really was a difficult summer... nausea, shock, exhaustion, vivid memories of past childbirth experiences, keeping it all a secret. Phew, happy to say most of that is over.
Another baby... wowza!

oh wow! how exciting! that's wonderful news, i hope you're feeling good. :)
WOW- well that definitely explains the lack of blogging... I was missing all of your fun posts!! Congratulations! You'll have a lot ahead of you but, as you know, it will all be worth it! Obviously, there's something else in store for you guys that you weren't even expecting! :)
What a wonderful surprise! My needles are poised and ready anxiously awaiting the news of your babies sex. I am very excited for you!
CONGRATS!!! i'll admit that i wondered if you were preggie on sunday, but didn't want to dare ask!! you looked great with just a little bump. i love preggie bellies! even though i was planning on four, my number four came sooner than expected too. i too was in shock for a while too, but he's been the most mellow and sweetest of all: a perfect note to end on. hope the same is true for you. (even my labor with him was fantastic. he was born around 6:50 am on mother's day - no epidural - just a few pushes - short labor - etc.... oh and he had the exact same due date as his oldest sister, but she was a day early and he was a week late. that's the only bad thing he did was be so late. i wasn't prepared for that since my others came around their due dates or in jake's case, way early). enough about me, CONGRATS!!! can't wait to see what you name him/her. i love all the names of your kids.
Congratulations!!! That is wonerful news. What a nice surprise! 4 is a nice number!

Oh, my, oh my, oh my, oh MYYYYYYY! Wow! Our oldest Cole is expecting their first in Jan., so this doesn't seem right because Cha Cha was born shortly after we left & I knew you were done then! Anyways, congratulations! I've very excited for you & the fam! I've heard these ones that come late in the game end up being such a blessing & the parents end up being super grateful for them. good LucK!

CONGRATS!!! I understand the shock factor all too well. The crazy thing is that one day you will look back and realize that this is exactly what is supposed to happen! I think #4 is the easiest one yet! Best wishes!
I don't get time to read for a little while and look what I miss! WOW! Honey I know just how you are feeling. It is a little overwhelming to have to replace everything, but it can be fun too. I admit, I was in shock until a month after she was born. Sometimes I still can't believe I have another baby. Geed Luck girlie, I know you will do great!
