seven random things about me?!?

I've been tagged by Lindsey? Never been tagged before. Here goes...

  1. I dip my pretzels in butter and my french fries in mayonnaise. Like fat much? I don't always do it (I don't have a death wish) but it is the preferred way!

  2. I am the oldest of seven children. There are five girls and two boys. It was fun growing up in a big family but as for me, I'm content (read overwhelmed) with three children. Thank you very much.

  3. My husband and I have known each other since second grade. He asked me to the junior prom when we were sixteen. We've been together ever since! Let's see, that means we've been a couple for (agh, double digit numbers) nineteen years and we'll have been married for twelve years at the end of this month. Please don't do all the math, I'm only 23!

  4. As I'm typing this, Cha Cha is sitting behind/with me on the desk chair, climbing on my back and shoulders and begging to play Noggin on the computer... I am teetering on the very edge of the seat, essentially doing a modified squat. Good exercise while blogging... that's what we're all about.

  5. My husband's nickname for me since high school has been "bunny." He attended a U.S. service academy for college. The first year they are allowed very limited contact with family and friends. The academy's football team was playing a team in my state and it was a requirement for his class to attend. Of course I had to go since I hadn't seen him for months. I did get to see him, albeit from afar. His company commander found out that I was there watching and apparently learned my nickname as well. Anyway... long story... not so short... his entire company was commanded to turn around, salute me and shout "Hello bunny!" Fun memory...

  6. I've delivered all three of my children without drugs. No epidurals. P.A.I.N.F.U.L! Each time it has been my plan to do this... however each time I did beg for drugs eventually... every time it's been too late. Oi!

  7. I still don't know what I want to be when I grow up (besides a Mommy). I vacillate between-- interior designer, graphic designer, web designer, basically any kind of designer, shop owner, B&B owner-- on a daily/hourly basis. Hence my associates degree in fine arts? Could never make up my mind. Ultimately I would love to own a Bed and Breakfast coordinated with a little shop and do all my own interior design, identity design and advertising?! And design for other people, too. Is that crazy? Oh wait, and coordinate weddings and birthday parties and showers. Oh, and also dabble in painting and photography and... Yes, crazy.

So few of my friends blog, except April (consider yourself tagged, April)and many of my blog aquaintances have already been tagged sooo... I tag anyone out there that reads my blog and has a blog to respond in... Delurk and drop a line in my comments box if you would like to respond, I'd love to know more about you!

This is why I love these tag things--you get to know so much more about your favorite bloggers.

So fun. I'm still trying to decide what I want to be, too. And you are THE WOMAN!! No drugs?! You rock. I did one natural, one with a spinal--I was induced for that one. The drug free one was painful, but a much better labor. (If labor could ever be described as good.)

how fun to read. my in-laws arrive tomorrow so it'll be a little while to list my random things (plus i might need a little time to think as to what exactly they are).

love the bunny moment. and i had my last one without drugs also. much better than an epidural, you are wise to have done it they way you did.

Lindsey- no such thing as good labor, never easy, just worth it!
(PS Hope you don't mind if I copy your response to comments style, so smart)

April- can't wait to read your seven things! glad to hear that the non-epidural way is better... don't plan to test that out, thought! More power to you with four!

L- You were too young to be interested in the bunny story at the time and I've never really talked about it since, it took a seven random things tag to bring it back out!
